Our journey starts with community

At the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church of Toronto (GPCT), we are a community built on unity and diversity. Founded in 1994, the GPCT has seen much growth in its community. We are one of 21 congregations within the Presbytery, and we are made up of 14 committees, servicing the needs of various groups in our church. Our focus is on empowering and inspiring our members of all age groups to be involved in their community and to be committed to their faith and to the works of God.

We are located right off the highway 400 at 51 High Meadow Place, our main intersection is Finch avenue west and Signet drive. We welcome all who wish to pay us a visit from out of town, or who wish to join us for the long term. Our community is constantly expanding, and we are working tirelessly to get the ball rolling on our building expansion; you can read more about that here.

We encourage you to explore our website and to keep up to date with all our events throughout the year. If you have any inquiries, feel free to contact us!

Rev Dr. Raymond Baah Abekah

David said, “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord” (Psalm 121: 1). It is on this note that I, the Minister – in – Charge of the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church, Toronto, would like to welcome you to our Church website, which aims at projecting Christ and His transforming word to everyone who responds to the call of God. We are a Community of the Presbyterian families: The Presbyterian Church of Ghana and the Presbyterian Church in Canada. As a church, we have a mandate to spread the word of God through any genuine means using various platforms. During the days of Nehemiah, Ezra stood on a platform to preach the word of God to his people.

As a church, we desire to get closer to you with the unchanging word of God to this ever changing world. God really loves you and the only way by which you can also love Him back is to obey Him by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. When are you going to make such a bold and of course the wisest decision in your life? Today may be the day of salvation. Today may also be the day that you would receive that unmerited Favor of God. The Lord is at your door still knocking and the choice is yours either to accept Him or not. May the Lord be with you. Amen!
